Experience

Fullstack Developer · Freelance Early 2025 – Present

Mexico

  • Build complete web solutions and custom software for clients across different industries, both local and remote.
  • Own the full delivery cycle: requirements, data modeling, business logic, implementation, and deployment.
  • Mediplus LM — Delivered a custom management and POS system for a multi-branch pharmacy with multiple roles: real-time inventory, expiration-date tracking, full product traceability for regulatory compliance (COFEPRIS, Mexico's health authority), and a streamlined sales flow that cut product lookup to under a minute. Built with Next.js, Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL.
  • Tacos de la Cano — Architected a full-stack, end-to-end-typed (Zod → tRPC → Prisma → TypeScript) multi-branch operations platform for a taco chain: shift-based POS, cash reconciliation, three-tier inventory, production and delivery boards, and an analytics dashboard — unifying 5 operational roles on a single real-time source of truth, with atomic transactions and state machines. Shipped as an installable PWA deployed with Docker.
  • OFFSET / BAJA — Built a bilingual (EN/ES) editorial website for an architecture and design studio on Payload CMS 3, Next.js 16, and React 19: fully client-manageable, on-demand ISR (100% static), live preview, multilingual SEO, and an automatic WebP/AVIF image pipeline; deployed serverless on Vercel with NeonDB (Postgres) and Cloudflare R2.

Remote

A technology company with projects across videogames, esports and education.

  • Reduced AWS billing by ~50% within the first months at the company through resource right-sizing and cloud cost optimization.
  • Cut deployment time by ~70%, largely by migrating eligible projects from AWS to Render and streamlining release pipelines.
  • Deployed and operated platforms serving users across 25+ countries, including streaming-server configuration.
  • Automated CI/CD for feature integration and delivery; modernized tooling by migrating from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.
  • Led cloud migrations to lower infrastructure costs while maintaining reliability, and managed and monitored AWS infrastructure (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, CloudFront, Lambda).
  • Handled security, build, and vulnerability-remediation tasks, collaborating cross-functionally with the engineering team.
